ABOUT
THE ARTIST –
Kelly is a fine art
photographer from Cincinnati, Ohio. She specializes in fine art photography,
however, she works in more commercial photography as well. She is available for

fine art photography, she enjoys the fast paced action of sports photography,
being a high level gymnast herself for 15 years. Kelly received her Bachelor's
of Fine Arts from Ball State University in May of 2010. While attending Ball State, she had the
privilege of showcasing her work in several juried and invitational stuent
exhibitions. Her work has also been featured in various local shows and exhibitions including the
Louisville Water Tower Regional Exhibition and an emerging artist exhibition at
the Malton Art Gallery. Kelly is currently represented by Art 101 Gallery in

MCCOLLAM SAYS –
“ I see beauty in the everyday. The things others may see as plain,
ordinary or useless. Transforming the way people look at the world around them
is what I strive for! Not everything is beautiful, but there is beauty in
everything.”

I DONT WANT TO DRIVE ANOTHER NAIL
Kelly about the Work - " It was done during a transitional time in my life. This work is
entitled, "I Don't Want to Drive Another Nail." It is a portrait of
Jesus, created out of wood and nails. A lot of people read the title and laugh.
They take it literally, like I drove so many nails into this wood that I don't
want to hammer one more. However,
there is a deep symbolism connected to it. Everytime we sin, it's like we're
driving another nail into the hands and feet of the Lord. He was an innocent
man, willing to endure torture and suffering beyond imagine in order to save us
from the penalty of our sin. He died for us so I will live for him. I don't
want to drive another nail..."
